GST Lighting Systems was founded in 1999 by Roberto Alegria.
Fascinated by concerts and live venues all of Roberto’s experience working for Sam Ash, to Pro Sound led to a long and fruitful career in the entertainment industry.
Roberto started his lighting career working with Southern California’s Pro Sound & Stage Lighting. There Roberto was able to quickly learn the ropes behind what makes a great stage presence and how to work with the best of the best. Throughout Roberto’s time with Pro Sound he acquired many skills, one of which was developing the company’s international export business. He was later awarded the top salesmen of the year for 1997-1998.
With his vast experience at Pro Sound he then decided to grow and create his own lighting empire, beginning in 1999 with GST Professional Lighting Systems. Roberto has been fortunate enough to work with some of Latin Americas top acts in Pop, Regional and Spanish Rock music with A-List artist such as: Pepe Aguilar Mana, Los Temerarios, Jenny Rivera, Joan Sebastian, Ana Gabriel, Marco Antonio Solis and companies like: Yamaha Pro Audio , Alpine Electronics, Discovery Science Center and various top church groups throughout Southern California.
GST Lighting Systems is now a top flight full service company providing: Rentals, Sales, Complete production & Event management of lighting video & audio equipment.
